Heartland resources for managing operations during school closures

Despite the vast number of school closures across the country, many of you continue to serve your communities by finding alternative ways to feed students while also fielding questions from parents. In challenging times like these, we are so grateful for people like you, and we couldn't be more honored to partner with your district.

As you work to navigate this new landscape, we want to do all that we can to help. Below are a few resources that will hopefully provide some assistance to you and your staff:

MySchoolBucks Emergency Meal Order Collection

We know that many of you are working hard to feed children in need while school doors are closed. To aid in this effort, we're providing a free service that allows you and your staff to more easily manage and collect meal requests for all your emergency feeding sites with MySchoolBucks.

Refunding MySchoolBucks payments
Over the coming weeks, parents may begin to request refunds from their accounts. We've pulled together our documentation and tutorials to guide you through issuing refunds from MySchoolBucks for cafeteria balances, store purchases, or invoices.

Resources for MealViewer customers
For schools with designated emergency feeding locations, we wanted to help you get the word out to your community about where those services are located. Our team is ready to assist you with setting up our new emergency feeding site location feature in your MealViewer web menus. We can also help add notifications and custom cards to communicate other important school closure or COVID-19 information.
