Back in March, some of our product experts reported on what's new and next for MSB this year at our Connect Conference. It’s been a big year of updates, with even more to come! Check out what you can expect to find within MSB today and in the year ahead.
Fees & Invoices
You will now find an improved recipient selection screen in MySchoolBucks. We’ve added new search and filtering capabilities, so you can now simply choose a search phrase and find exactly what you’re looking for. You can also export all student balances to share with other departments. Plus these new filters allow you to include adults or students that are no longer actively enrolled.
The team also recently released a new feature allowing schools to edit multiple fees at a time. We also know schools love the feature that enables them to copy fee templates, so with this feature, you’ll also be able to copy invoice templates.
Store
With new features in stores, you can now make certain products available to specific groups of students. For instance, you can limit the purchase of cheer uniforms to only the cheer team or restrict students with unpaid invoices from making purchases like homecoming tickets.
But that's not all! We've also added a new feature that allows you to set up student group pricing, tiered pricing and even offer discounts to specific groups. This means you can create custom pricing structures that work best for your school and students.
MSB Anywhere
Also recently released for general availability, within MSB Anywhere, you can now search and add multiple students at one time and even select more than one invoice. Not to mention an updated checkout experience with an improved look and functionality, like the swipe card prompt appearing first, rather than having to choose it from a list of payment options.

Fees & invoices
Soon there will be a feature within fees & invoices that allows you to universally search for whatever you’re looking for. Parents will also be able to view a statement of account for each of their students without having to contact the district or school.
Store
Now in Beta and soon to be released for general availability, schools will be able to generate promotional codes. This means you can offer discounts on products based on a percentage or dollar amount to any specific product, product group, or even the entire cart. There will also be a new low-stock notification allowing you to see when an item is getting low.
