Easy registration with robust customization options

Parents can navigate to MSB Activities right from their MySchoolBucks account. Ed talks through how you can add a card to your Parent Portal to drive people right to your school’s programs. With single-sign on, parents won’t need to have two logins, they can just move through the registration process once they click. 

With single sign-on they won’t have to log in to another system, they can just click and navigate right to the registration page in MSB Activities.  Programs can customize registration to ensure they collect the information they need, like medical forms, signatures, or allergies. You can also have parents identify authorized pick-up persons so your program staff know who can pick up students. MSB Activities also supports in-person enrollment for programs that may allow parents to register while they attend open houses or back-to-school nights.

As an administrator, you can see the number of students currently enrolled, the number of operating activities, and pending registrations. Admins have the ability to accept, deny, or review enrollments. You can also easily access student registration information and edit it when needed. 

Customizable enrollment plans

Enrollment plans are easy to create and customize to your programs needs. Here, you can include information such as the description of the program and the type of activity, such as Spring Aftercare or Summer All-day Care. You’ll also include important details like registration start and end dates. Edit invoice information right from within the enrollment plan to define the cadence of billing, invoice due dates, and when late fees will be applied. 

Streamlined program billing & automatic invoices

Navigating the complexities of B&A fees can be challenging. From payment plans to notifying parents to tracking unpaid fees, afterschool professionals can find themselves overwhelmed with the day-to-day hassles of program billing. With an online platform, your programs can automate and improve the entire billing process, leading to faster payment collection and reduces unpaid fees. 

Programs can set up billing exactly how they need whether it’s monthly, daily, or hourly. You’ll be able to easily define due dates, apply discounts, or add late fees if a payment is missed. And with automatic invoice notifications, parents will receive alerts when payments are due so they can quickly and securely pay online or with their phone.

Ed shares details about our partners at Leeds City SD, a MySchoolBucks district, who streamlined billing with MSB Activities. Leeds found that they were able to collect 89% of their B&A invoices online resulting in only 4% of those going unpaid. These online payments drastically reduced the amount of time spend managing cash/check with only  six cash payments in 2023.

Simple check-in/out for daily operations

In MSB Activities, Ed also shows how simple it is for coordinators to “start” their operating day when programs are in session. Once days are started, coordinators can manage check in/out from a computer or ipad.
