[Power Hour Recap] Collecting spring fees in MSB Tickets

Blog Header Power Hour Recap-1

Spring is practically here, which means your school probably has a bunch of events coming up! Last month, our Power Hour was focused on how you can simplify all your event management, promotion, and ticket sales with MSB Tickets. Anthony Piazza, one of our MSB Account Managers, covered these event features and more during our live webinar:

NEW! Technical Account Managers

To kick off the webinar, Rod Raleigh, Director of Client Services, joined to share exciting updates about a new consulting and support opportunity for schools with our Technical Account Managers (TAM). With a TAM, your district can partner with a dedicated resource that would provide proactive, personalized support and expert product guidance aligned with your school's specific goals.

To see if a TAM is the right fit for your school, you can sign up for a free 30-day consultation. To learn more about this and get started, you can visit this page.

Simplify schools events with MSB Tickets

Anthony then begins to discuss how MySchoolBucks can help you with your spring events by diving into how you can utilize MSB Tickets. Take a look at three helpful tips from the webinar:

1) Create an events page

Within MSB Tickets, you have the ability to create an events page where you can link to all the upcoming events happening at your school. It will showcase different portal cards that include a brief overview of the event, such as the name, date, time, short description.

On your event page, families can see all the relevant details, price of the ticket, and how many seats are still available. You can also give options for event-goers to easily share the event on social or add it to their calendar. With MSB Tickets, families can choose to checkout as a guest or use an existing MySchoolBucks account to purchase tickets with their saved payment methods.

2) Showcase your venue layout

Anthony shares the venue layout page, which is a you have the unique feature within MSB tickets that allows you to create a visual of the actual space where your event will be occurring. This is a helpful feature if your event requires assigned seats, and it allows attendees to view the exact layout of the event and choose their tickets accordingly. Your venue layout can be customized to have a seating capacity limit, marked handicap seats, and reserved seating, when applicable.

3) Utilize the MSB Tickets admin dashboard

We then took a look into the backend of MSB Tickets where Anthony shows us how administrators can manage their events and track ticket sales. For day-of event logistics, staff can utilize the Box Office to check guests in, view event orders, and sell tickets in-person. Schools can also use our in-person payment solution MSB Anywhere to accept credit card payments at events, in addition to any cash and check payments that may still need to be collected.
