This week, we released new features in MySchoolBucks to help you and your parents succeed in the 2024-2025 school year. Here's a recap:
Batch Report Reconciliation
Additional options have been added to the Batch Report (Detail) to make Deposit Reconciliation easier than ever. You can check out all of the Batch Report's new features under the Reports Dashboard:
- Group report results by Payment Gateway or G/L Acct information and include subtotals by the same criteria.
- Filter the Batch Report by multiple Payment Gateways instead of running a report for each one individually.
- New report columns were added for G/L Segment, Confirmed Status, and Product Option.
- Student Group Price and Student Group Name have been added as columns to the Pricing & Inventory Report.
Invoicing Multiple Providers
Invoicing continues to be made even easier, as you can now search Recipients under multiple Student Providers. You can also filter them accordingly when searching for specific students.
Invoices and Invoicing Cashier
New capabilities were added to the Invoices search page and Invoicing (Cashier):
- Invoices waived from the search page (MySchoolBucks Admin Dashboard; Invoices > Invoices) now prompts for an optional reason when recording a waiver. Previously, this was only possible on the Cashier page.
- If your School District uses external third-party fee integrations such as Synergy or Destiny, you can now record cash or check payments for fees from those integrations. Please be sure to select the INCLUDE EXTERNAL FEES checkbox to search for external fees.
District-Wide Fee Creation
We've also added a safety measure when creating Fees for your invoices. When creating Fees, the District-Wide setting under the Availability tab is no longer on by default. The fee must be marked manually as available District-Wide or else filtered down to selected School Stores before it can be created. This can help cut down on confusion for districts with multiple schools and bank accounts.
