This week we released new features in MySchoolBucks to continuously help you and your parents manage payments for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. Here's a recap:
If your district has parents that commonly have outstanding invoices, you can now schedule recurring reminder emails to them. This will help not only remind parents that they have an outstanding invoice but can also help your district or departments tackle debt from those outstanding invoices by offering parents options to settle that debt.
More information on how to schedule recurring outstanding invoice notifications is available in this Outstanding Invoice knowledge article.
MySchoolBucks now features the ability to copy an existing invoice template. This function will allow our users to quickly and easily create a new invoice template that is similar to an existing one. Select "Copy" from the hamburger menu next to any existing invoice template to create a new invoice template with all the same configuration - then edit away!
Previously, in the MySchoolBucks 12.7 Release, MySchoolBucks added the ability to create fees on the fly when creating an invoice. This option displays when you go to add a fee to the invoice, and "Create new fee" displays.
In this release, MySchoolBucks now offers the ability also to save those fees created on the fly on an invoice when you're saving that invoice as an invoice template. When selecting the waffle menu to save the invoice as a template, a message will appear to let users know that any on the fly fees created in that invoice will also be saved to the template.
MySchoolBucks Anywhere now offers a few enhancements:
The MSB Parent App now offers a 'Continue Shopping' button to the cart and checkout to allow a parent to more easily navigate back to the store.
