This week we released new features in MySchoolBucks to continuously help you and your parents manage payments for the 2022-2023 school year. Here's a recap:

  Product Cost and Profit Tracking

MySchoolBucks has made tracking the costs and profits associated with your products easier! A new cost field has been added to Products so that you can enter the cost of a product when creating a product. It has also been added as a field to each product's Pricing & Inventory Stock Options.

In addition to the fields added to products, MySchoolBucks also offers both Unit Cost and Total Profit as customizable columns in the Sales Report. You can check out this MySchoolBucks Sales Report knowledge articles to learn more about this report.

 Archive Products

Admins can now hide the products that are no longer in use with the new Archive option. Archiving a product will ensure that the product won't appear in product lists or reports. If you ever need to view or un-archive an item, you can simply select the new "Include Archived Products" checkbox in your product search.

 Export Student Statement of Account Data to Excel

MySchoolBucks now allows you to export the data you generated in the Student Statement of Account Report to Excel. When generating the report, the last page (page 3) will have the option to Export to Excel. For more information, you can review this Student Statement of Account knowledge article.

 Invoice Recipient Improvements

MySchoolBucks offers a better invoice recipient search experience with the new Enrollment Status and Adult filters, which were added to the invoice recipient search criteria. Simply select either of the checkboxes to help find what you're looking for.

 Parent App Improvements

The MySchoolBucks team has made a few quality-of-life improvements to the MySchoolBucks Parent App experience. This means that these features contribute to the app so that it not only does what our Parents need it to do, but it makes it that much easier for them. The improvements include:

• An updated Quick Links screen that displays the quick links in a uniform size
• A "Next Amount Due" reminder note when paying for invoices
• Shopping cart improvements, like the ability to add or remove quantities and validation that prevents users from purchasing products that are no longer available.
