As a school administrator, you likely use a number of programs to keep your operations running smoothly. That's why we prioritize integrations with key K12 software programs. With our asset management integrations, we can help you better connect your systems and utilize MySchoolBucks as the central touchpoint for all payments flowing through your district.
Check out how MySchoolBucks integrates with popular platforms:
Fee Integrations
With our Fee Integration partners, you can connect existing fees from third-party platforms over into MySchoolBucks. As a district, this means you will not have to recreate fees from different platforms within MySchoolBucks. Instead, this information can be pulled from the other platform and presented to parents alongside existing MySchoolBucks invoices.
This type of integration also allows fee data to be shared between systems, so you can track who has paid and who still owes within both platforms. When a fee is marked as paid within the originating software, MySchoolBucks will recognize that change and update the status, ensuring your invoice reporting is always accurate within both systems.
A few of our Fee Integration partners:
- Follett Destiny has a large footprint in the k-12 industry and is for library and resource management. With this fee integration, we're able to label so funds can go to individual bank accounts, and can even be reported against general ledger codes.
- Insignia is a comprehensive library automation system that allows you to manage your fees in one place. Students and their families can log right in to MySchoolBucks and view Insignia fees and make payments thanks to payments and fees automatically syncing between the two programs.
- Frontline is a school administration software that's used to oversee and manage all of your fees. Media specialists can handle the fees in Frontline as per usual, and with the integration, bookkeepers / staff members can also have access to those details right in MSB.
MSB Pay
MSB Pay is another type of integration that we provide that makes it easy for you to capture payments within a third-district system. With this integration, you can add a payment option to existing systems to allow parents to checkout using their MySchoolBucks account and saved payment methods. Or, parents can also check out as a guest if they don’t have a MySchoolBucks account. It’s essentially acting as a digital wallet where parents can use their saved payment info in MySchoolBucks to make purchases, avoiding the need to reenter their credit/debit cards to different websites.
Some of our MSB Pay partners:
- Incident IQ is a service management platform to track help tickets, assets and more. Everything is managed in incident IQ, but when there's an invoice, users and guests will be sent a link to check out right through MySchoolBucks.
- Brightly has been a long time integration partner, and is a cloud based software that optimizes facility rentals. Invoices are sent with a link to pay right within MySchoolBucks, even if a user doesn't have a student on it. The status of these invoices is automatically synced back within Brightly's event manager.
- Master Library was recently acquired by Follett, and is a library management software. Similar to other integrations, users are sent a link to pay through MSB and can do so whether they have a user account or not. This is especially helpful for programs like this where it may be a community member renting a book, and not necessarily a student or their family.
A peek at what's to come
MySchoolBucks is always looking for new partners to work with when it comes to integrations, to help ensure your work can be as streamlined as simple as possible. Currently, the team is pending integrations with systems such as Divot Assets, One to One plus, and Vizor.
The MySchoolBucks team is working on an exciting update that will help streamline your processes even more. When a fee from one of our integration partners comes into MySchoolBucks, that will trigger an invoice email to be sent out directly to parents and families. They no longer have to log in to see what fees are owed, because instead it will appear right in their email with a direct link to pay, turning fees owed into fees paid with a much quicker turn around time. This is currently being built and tested, and the team is excited to release it in the future.
