Tips for planning your end of year

It’s important to think about if you want to turn off payments for the summer. MySchoolBucks allows you to disable stores that aren't in use to help limit confusion for families. Another feature to help keep parents in the loop is setting up special dates. When you set your start of year and end of year dates in MSB, families are automatically notified when things will start to pick back up again.

Support Central

Support Central has a ton of great features to keep your operation running smoothly. If you’re wondering how to submit a case, you can do that right through Support Central, which Anthony walks through, as well as how to update your district information and main point of contact.

Chargebacks

Chargebacks are an important part of wrapping up the school year. You can create a case through Support Central, submit who your main point of contact should be, and we can help with the rest. As Anthony explains, Heartland supports your district by submitting all supporting documents on behalf of the district to contest the chargeback.

Invoicing

Using the invoicing tool, you can assign fees to students, customize invoices, automatically notify parents, and easily track and reconcile payments. You can also get a walkthrough of how to view your invoice dashboard to see how many invoices have been paid and how many are outstanding.

Resource Central

Within Resource Central, there are a number of tools that will help you to create more awareness in your community. You can access free communication tools like flyers and templates to send out to parents, training tools, and knowledge-based articles (even videos!).
