# Victoria ISD scores big: Leveraging MySchoolBucks for seamless game-day ticket sales

Victoria ISD in Victoria, TX, home to 13,000 students, is a recent customer of MySchoolBucks using MSB Tickets to assist with managing their big games and events. When we heard they had a big game coming up, a group of MySchoolBucks team members journeyed to Texas to support the district during the event. The school sold 2,723 for the big game, and over a thousand of those tickets were sold in-person with MSB Tickets on game day.

Victoria ISD has been using MSB Tickets to support different programs throughout the district this school year, including fine arts and athletics.

For Athletic Secretary, Vicky Rojas, utilizing MSB Tickets has streamlined various aspects of managing games and athletic events. The experience of having both MySchoolBucks and MSB Tickets has been smooth. The seamless integration between the two platforms has made the entire process simpler and more convenient for parent users, too. 

According to Vicky, the check-in process has become much simpler due to features like the ability to search for a person's name when redeeming a ticket if it cannot be scanned or found. She also pointed out the convenience of eliminating cash transactions, "taking cash out of the equation is really convenient. Everything is set to a specific price to pay online, so there’s nothing to exchange where we may lose a dollar or worry about exact change.”

From an administrative standpoint, having all event tracking consolidated within a single system has been a game-changer. The school sold 2,723 for the big game, and over a thousand of those tickets were sold in-person with MSB Tickets on game-day. 

*“Being able to pull game reports for an event, knowing exactly how many tickets were sold, and giving the exact amount of what we made for that event definitely speeds up the process on our end.”*

Being on site provided MySchoolBucks team members a chance to interact with event attendees to see the product being used in action, and provide support at the gate when needed. Through feedback from Vicky and the team they were able to make enhancements that will not only better the the experience for Victoria ISD moving forward, but for all MSB Tickets customers. 

Kristy MacCheyne, our MSB Tickets Product Manager, said, ”to see how many people were in the stadium, how big the event was, and to know we got to be a part of that was incredible and was one of those moments of remembering why we do what we do and feeling accomplished and proud that MSB Tickets was the ticketing solution for this big football game in Texas.” 

Success doesn’t come without teamwork, and Vicky and other staff at the district have found working with MySchoolBucks to be a smooth process, and a user-friendly system. Throughout training, questions are answered and issues are quickly resolved if they arise.
