This week we released new features in MySchoolBucks to help you manage payments for the 2022-2023 school year. Here's a recap:
A Redesigned Parent App
The MySchoolBucks Parent App has been updated to start the 2022-2023 school year off with a fresh new look! The updated look provides a modern look and feel with refreshed screens and functionality and makes the app easier for our parents to use.
The MySchoolBucks Parent App is available for download via Google Play or AppStore as of Monday, August 1st.
Easier Parent Account Setup
This release allows parents to easily add students to their accounts using their verified email addresses! In the account signup steps, students will now be matched to the parent based on the parent's verified email address. If the parent’s email address matches the email address in the student’s Contact Email field, the parent will be prompted to add the student to their account - making it easier and quicker to get started with MySchoolBucks.
Increased Invoice and Statement of Account Limit
Scheduled Requests is a new menu added to monitor and manage scheduled requests and processes that run in the background. Now, large jobs for creating Invoices or generating Statements of Accounts are processed in the background and are displayed in My Scheduled Requests.
In addition to this new menu, Admins can now request up to 7500 Invoices and up to 7500 Statements of Account to be generated at a time. The system will process the request in the background when creating more than 500 invoices or generating more than 500 statements of account. These requests can be monitored in Scheduled Requests. A notification email will be sent to the requestor once the job has been completed.
More on-screen help options
We're continuing to improve the usability of MySchoolBucks by providing on-screen help for our users! Now our district admins can easily access Knowledge Articles, Videos, and Step by Step Guides to help them navigate the features on each page with the click of their mouse.
