For our February webinar, Ryan Seiner, on of our Account Managers, showcased different ways you can manage school events with MSB Tickets. Take a look at three key features that can enhance tickets sales for your Spring events!
Create your school profile
Ryan walks through how to set up your school profile. Here you can add information like your school’s URL that leads to your event page for quick and easy access. You can also include your social media account URLs, if you would like them to be associated with your account too. If you have an existing MSB account, you can simply choose the option to sync from MySchoolBucks and all of this information will be automatically filled in with the same information.
With a school profile, it makes it easy to include important information about your school within the system. In turn, it's simple for parents and students to locate the information they need, too! For example, with quick access to an event page, families don't have to search around your site to find their students event. If the event has a unique URL, they can also share that easily with other family members who may want to attend. The ability to quickly locate and share this information not only makes the lives of families easier, but also helps to simplify your job and save time. Less people will be reaching out trying to track down this information if it's clearly shared right on your school's event page.
Set up your events
Ryan showcases different useful features within the event set up tab. When setting up your events, there's a bunch of time saving tools to make creating events quick and efficient. If you have recurring or annual events that happen each year, you can copy the event from last year and edit the specific details like date and time. This is an easy way for your team to save time, especially if you're managing several events throughout the year. Another useful feature is setting a launch date. With this you can select the date you want the event to go live, essentially "set it and forget it" so you can create the event ahead of time and don't have to worry about remembering to go back in to make the page live.
If you created an event but later have to cancel it, there can be a number of logistics that have to take place to do so. With MSB Tickets, you can simply cancel your event and the system will do the rest. Once you cancel the event, the system will provide refunds to anyone who may have already purchased a ticket.
Manage reporting
Ryan also showcases how reporting works within MSB Tickets. Reporting is an essential part of an event, but can take hours if it has to be done manually. When using the reporting feature in MSB Tickets, it works directly with MySchoolBucks so you can easily pull event reports. You can access data like how many tickets were sold, revenue, and contact information of event attendees. Instead of having to spend your time collecting and organizing all the data, all you have to do is review the information to see how the event went!
At the end of the webinar Senior Account Manager, Drew Izzio answers a number of great questions around creating venues, setting admin restrictions, and much more! Watch the webinar below to see everything that was covered.
