Help spread kindness this year on GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is around the corner! Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been a day of Global Giving, with GivingTuesday. This year, on December 3rd, join in on the fun and give back by getting involved and supporting organizations that play an essential role in your community.

Participating in GivingTuesday doesn’t have to be grand gesture and can be as simple as showing someone extra kindness and generosity that day. Take a look at some other ideas of how you can participate this year:

• Give your time by volunteering at a local organization.
• Perform an act of kindness for a co-worker and encourage students to do the same for a classmate.
• Encourage students to give thanks by writing a letter of gratitude to a teacher or friend who has helped them recently.
• Join TuesdayforTrash and go outside with students to clean up debris around the school.
• Start a fundraiser that students can help organize and run.
