School nutrition programs are responsible for serving healthy, nutritious meals to 30 million students each day. Now with school closures, districts are trying to find the best course of action to make sure that our students are still being fed.

Districts across the nation have stepped up to implement emergency feeding programs to ensure that children in their communities don't go hungry, even when school is not in session. In order to aid in their effort, the School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) is gathering donations to help schools continue to serve. SNF will use these donations to provide grants for schools to implement grab-and-go bags, mobile carts and kiosks, or curbside services.

Every dollar helps them with their mission. If you're interested in donating, you can visit SNF's GoFundMe page here. You can also help SNF meet their goal of raising $500,000 by sharing this campaign on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using #FeedKidsNow to raise awareness. Our nutrition professionals are joining the ranks of our frontline heroes during these times and we thank them for the work they do every day to ensure no student is without a meal.
